Everything about our compounds, testing, shipping and policies in one place.

How ordering works

01Research account

Browse and build a cart freely. Checkout asks you to sign in or create a research account; every order is placed through one.

02Ships same day

In-stock orders placed before 4 PM EST on a weekday leave the same day, 2-day via FedEx or UPS. Tracking is sent by email and text.

03Guaranteed to match

Purity, mass, quantity and endotoxin levels match the certificate for your lot, or we replace the vial.

04Research use only

Every order confirms the products are for in-vitro laboratory research and not for human or animal use.

Anyone can browse the catalog, read certificates and build a cart. The checkout button asks you to sign in or create a research account, and every order is placed through one.

Quality and testing

What purity level are your peptides and how is it verified?

Averix Labs peptides are released to a specification of ≥98% purity. Purity is measured by reverse-phase HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) and identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry. A lot-specific certificate of analysis documenting the measured purity is posted on each product page and on the certificates of analysis page.

What is a certificate of analysis and how do I read it?

A certificate of analysis (COA) is issued by the testing laboratory and confirms the identity, purity and content of the compound in a specific production lot. It shows the lot number, the HPLC purity percentage, the mass spectrometry confirmation of molecular weight and the testing date. Each certificate is lot-specific and traceable.

What additional testing is performed on each lot?

Beyond HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity, every lot is screened for bacterial endotoxins using Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) testing and tested for microbial contamination per USP <71> sterility protocols. Retention samples are archived for each lot in case re-testing is ever needed.

How is lot-to-lot consistency ensured?

Every production run is assigned a unique lot number with a full certificate of analysis. Specifications are held constant across all lots and retention samples from every lot are archived. That traceability is what makes results reproducible.

What is guaranteed?

Purity, mass, quantity and endotoxin levels match the certificate for your lot. If an independent third-party laboratory report that we can verify on that laboratory's website shows otherwise, we replace the vial.

Products and handling

What is reconstitution solution and what ships with my order?

Lyophilized peptides must be brought back into solution before analytical work. A 10 mL bottle of reconstitution solution is included with every order, matched to the compounds purchased. We do not provide reconstitution volumes, concentrations or protocols; determining the appropriate diluent and volume for a given experiment is the responsibility of the researcher.

How should peptides be stored?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C in a sealed container, protected from light and moisture. Reconstituted peptides should be stored at 4°C and used within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade peptide integrity.

How long do peptides remain stable?

Lyophilized peptides stored correctly at -20°C are stable for 24 months or longer. Stability varies by sequence: peptides containing cysteine, methionine or glutamine can have shorter shelf lives. Once reconstituted, stability is typically four weeks refrigerated.

Why are your peptides lyophilized?

Lyophilization (freeze-drying) removes water activity and prevents hydrolytic degradation, preserving the structural integrity of the peptide from synthesis to the bench. It also allows an extended shelf life and stable shipping without cold-chain logistics on standard transit times.

Shipping and delivery

How fast do you ship, and is cold shipping required?

Every order ships 2-day via FedEx or UPS. In-stock orders placed before 4 PM EST on a weekday ship the same day; orders after the cutoff ship the next business day. Because our peptides are lyophilized, cold shipping is not required for standard transit times. Cold-pack shipping is available at checkout for longer transit or warmer climates.

When is free shipping offered?

Free 2-day shipping is applied automatically to orders over $200 shipped to U.S. addresses. Orders under $200 are charged the standard 2-day rate calculated at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship within the United States and to Puerto Rico only.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships you receive a shipment confirmation email with the FedEx or UPS tracking number, and text updates if you gave a mobile number at checkout. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to update after shipment. You can also use the order tracking page or open the order in your research account.

What happens if I order on a weekend or holiday?

Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays ship the next business day.

Orders, bulk and returns

What payment options do you accept?

The available payment options are shown at checkout. Payment is due in full before an order ships; you receive an order confirmation email once it is received.

Do you offer bulk pricing or minimum order quantities?

Yes. We offer preferred pricing for laboratories and institutions ordering in volume. There is no minimum for standard purchases, and tiered discounts apply at higher volumes. Contact us to set it up on your research account.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund. Contact us as soon as possible at contact@averixlabs.com with your order number. Once an order has shipped it cannot be cancelled.

What is your return and refund policy?

All sales are final and we do not accept returns on shipped products. If a product arrives damaged, or an independent third-party laboratory report we can verify shows it does not match its certificate, we replace it. See the shipping and returns policy for the full terms.

What does shipment protection cover?

Every order is covered at no additional cost. If your package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit we replace it or issue a full refund. Damage claims need photo evidence and are reviewed before a replacement ships.

Accounts and support

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. You can browse, read certificates and build a cart without one, but checkout asks you to sign in or create a research account. Registration takes under a minute and keeps your orders, lots and certificates in one place.

Who is authorized to purchase from Averix Labs?

Our products are supplied to researchers, laboratories and qualified institutions for in-vitro research. By placing an order you confirm that you are purchasing in a research or institutional capacity and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

Are Averix Labs products FDA-approved?

No. Our products are research-grade compounds and have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They are not drugs, and no therapeutic, diagnostic or medical claims are made. Compliance with applicable law is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
