Quality & Testing
All Averix Laboratories peptides are guaranteed at ≥98% purity. Purity is measured by reverse-phase HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and confirmed by mass spectrometry. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) documenting the purity result is included with every order.
A Certificate of Analysis is a document issued by our quality control lab confirming the identity, purity, and concentration of the compound in a specific production lot. It includes the lot number, HPLC purity percentage, mass spec confirmation of molecular weight, and testing date. Each CoA is lot-specific and traceable.
Beyond HPLC purity and mass spec identity, every production lot is screened for bacterial endotoxins using Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) testing and tested for microbial contamination per USP <71> sterility protocols. Retention samples are archived for each lot in case re-testing is ever needed.
Every production run is assigned a unique lot number with a full Certificate of Analysis. Specifications are held constant across all batches, and retention samples from every lot are archived. This traceability is critical for reproducible research.
Products & Handling
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It is used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides for research purposes. If your application requires repeated draws from the same vial, bacteriostatic water is the appropriate reconstitution medium.
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C in a sealed container, protected from light and moisture. Reconstituted peptides should be stored at 4°C and used within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which can degrade peptide integrity.
Lyophilized peptides stored correctly at -20°C are stable for 24 months or longer. Stability varies by sequence — peptides containing cysteine, methionine, or glutamine may have shorter shelf lives. Once reconstituted, stability is typically 4 weeks refrigerated.
Lyophilization (freeze-drying) removes water activity and prevents hydrolytic degradation, preserving the structural integrity of the peptide from synthesis to the lab bench. It also allows for extended shelf life and stable shipping without the need for cold chain logistics on standard transit times.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders with all items in-stock ship within 24 hours of being placed. Because our peptides are lyophilized, cold shipping is not required for standard transit times. For longer transit or warmer climates, cold pack shipping is available at checkout.
Free shipping is automatically applied to all orders over $200. Orders under $200 are subject to standard shipping rates calculated at checkout.
We currently ship within the United States and Puerto Rico.
Once your order ships, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after shipment. You can also view tracking details by logging into your account.
Orders placed before 4 PM EST on a weekday typically ship the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays ship the following Monday or next business day.
Orders, Bulk & Returns
Yes. We offer preferred pricing for qualified businesses that order in volume. There are no strict minimum order quantities for standard purchases, but tiered discounts apply at higher volumes. Contact us directly for preferred pricing and discounts — we'll work with you to set up a professional account.
Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment for a full refund. Contact us as soon as possible at support@averixlabs.com with your order number. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
All sales are final. However, if a product arrives damaged or tests below 98% purity upon independent verification by the customer, we will reship the product no questions asked. Please contact us with your order number and documentation and we will take care of it immediately.
Every order is covered by shipment protection at no additional cost. If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, we will replace it or issue a full refund. Damage claims require photo evidence and are subject to review.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All payments are processed through Authorize.net with 256-bit SSL encryption. Payment is due in full at the time of order.
