Conformance standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we are actively working to address those areas.
Measures we have taken
Averix Labs takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

- Maintain sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for body text) throughout the site

- Implement ARIA roles and attributes on interactive components such as dialogs and the cart
- Support keyboard-only navigation for all interactive elements
- Provide visible focus indicators for keyboard and switch-device users
- Use a responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels up to 400%
- Avoid using color as the sole means of conveying information
- Ensure links have descriptive text (avoiding "click here" or "read more" in isolation)

Accessibility of averixlabs.com relies on the following technologies working together: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA 1.1, and WordPress with WooCommerce. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browser combinations:
- NVDA with Firefox (Windows)

- VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS)

Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, there may be some areas that do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. The following known limitations exist and we are actively working to resolve them:
Some checkout fields still rely on placeholder text rather than persistent visible labels. We are adding associated label elements.
Focus outlines are suppressed in some custom components. We are restoring visible focus styles across all interactive elements.
Certain secondary text uses a gray that may not meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against white at smaller sizes.
